Meghan McFerran

Meghan McFerran followed her dream to New York City and into the world of being a professional dancer. A world filled with hustle and grind of audition after audition. She finally landed her dream job, only to discover that it brought with it so many confidence and body issues that she knew she had to make a change. And she did. Today she’s an entrepreneur and dance fitness trainer with her own classes and fitness app called, “Glisten”.

“I wanted to create a feeling where everyone could stand in their unique spotlight, not one girl gets the part, but we all get the part. And we all have an opportunity to shine. And I knew that only I could create a community where everyone can come together where the show doesn’t wrap…”

Monisha Patel

Monisha Patel left her job in software sales and turned her side hustle into a thriving business. The hustle? Custom charcuterie arrangements, workshops and catering.

“I have had a lot of ideas that I have been too scared to attempt, too scared to start…There was always some reason not to do it. And this started so organically and so slowly and it grew into what it is today. So there were no more excuses. It already happened. It happened while I wasn’t really paying attention, so it really helped move things along…”

Eric Boles

Think back to a time when you felt you were at your best, on top of the world. What if you could feel that way over and over and over again. Eric Boles says it is possible. He’s a former wide receiver in the NFL who had natural talent and ability. But between injuries and what he says were his own mental roadblocks he got dismissed and became a janitor to make ends meet. Through his experiences, he learned how to unleash his own power within and today he’s an international leadership consultant and keynote speaker.

“I did not understand, at the time, the psychology beyond those things. I didn’t know there was a way to rebuild and restore and reframe how I looked at myself and looked at the world…”

You can learn more about Eric, his book “Moving to Great: Unleashing Your Best in Life and Work” and more at thegamechangersinc.com

Tara West

From psychotherapist to fashion stylist, my guest has risen above a traumatic childhood, to learning how to trust herself and live her best life. When I learned about Tara West’s story, I knew I wanted the world to know more about her because of her courage to transform her life and create a next chapter.

“There’s a lot of psychology that comes to play when I’m working with people, whether it’s hiding a certain thing, or working with a certain part of our body that we don’t like, even to the finances…My psychology background really…helps me understand people and where they’re coming from.”

Celine Charlotte

Growing up in the Netherlands, Celine Charlotte was told by her parents to live a “normal life,” which meant marry a rich man, stick to the rules and follow the status quo. But that is not what she wanted. Instead, she left everything behind, moved to America and went from no money in the bank to becoming a self-made millionaire and she wants to show others how they can do it too.

“I choose the career of being a journalist, mostly to educate myself…I choose to write a lot about entrepreneurship…So after doing that for seven years, ‘I thought, okay, now’s the time that I can start my own company…’”

Conor Cudahy

From the Peace Corps to pizza, that was the pivot Conor Cudahy made during the pandemic and followed his passion. Conor is the founder of Lala’s Neopolitan-ish Pizza, first as a mobile, pop-up pizza food truck to his first brick and mortar establishment.

“It was really just a hobby for me at the beginning…it never seemed like…a stable way to make a living. I think the pandemic really just showed everyone that there really is no stability in anything anymore. So why not follow your passion and do something that really makes you excited?’”

You can find Conor, and Lala’s Neopolitan-ish Pizza online at lalasneapolitan-ishpizza.com, at Time Out Market in Boston in the Back Bay neighborhood of The Fenway and on Instagram at @lalas_pizza.

Tammy Gooler Loeb says it is possible to find your way to greater career satisfaction, and she can help you put a plan in place. After years of her own unfulfilling professional career chapters, she found her calling by working from the inside out.

“…I’m not suggesting that people throw all caution to the wind, empty out their bank accounts and…do something crazy. Rob & Chris Gronkowski

What do two brothers—who happen to both be former professional football players—do once they’ve hung up their cleats? Besides giving of their time and talents to their favorite charities, Rob Gronkowski and his brother Chris have created their next chapters by becoming entrepreneurs. In fact, it’s an all-around family affair with a number of different business ventures.

“…The hard work that you learn, the long hours that you put in, definitely transfer over what you put into it as well, your personal efforts. So you definitely see the rewards, and you also see the failures if you don’t put that work in as well. But what I like the most is really, the team atmosphere is what you see and what you learned as an athlete. And it transfers directly over to building a team and building a business as well…”

Michelle Figueroa

What does a national journalist do when she’s simply tired of feeling like all she ever does is report on bad news? Michelle Figueroa knew exactly what to do and created her own movement of good news stories.

“…I pitched good news stories, and they were amazing. I was thinking people need to know these stories and they would get turned down to many hard news stories…I was sick of getting kicked to the curb. So I created my own platform. I became my own news director…”
