We’ve all heard the phrase laughter is the best medicine, and Amy Lyle would no doubt agree. She’s a former recruiter from one of the largest staffing firms in the world but chose to follow her passions, and is now an author, stand up comedian, actor, TEDx speaker and a screenwriter.

“…never thought about being a stand up comic necessarily but I was, you know, popular at dinner parties…What I found is vulnerability, and kind of sharing a little bit, not too much, just sharing a little bit of your failures or your hurts with other people, draws people to you.”
