Colleen Eyges

When I first tasted Velo Vodka, I was hooked. And when I discovered the founder and CEO of this new brand on the market was a woman and a serial entrepreneur, I had to learn how she has created so many successful businesses.

“I had always had the entrepreneurial bug, since I was like a little girl…just always had this craving to kind of create something, do something different.”

Deven Wohlwend

Just because you’ve never done something doesn’t mean you can’t, you just have to try. My guest is living by this very same philosophy as an investor in everything from real estate to gold, silver cryptocurrency to even Legos. He has his own company, and is now a published author of two books. But here’s the kicker: He’s only 15 years old and not afraid to learn and grow, and teach people what he already knows.

“Too many people today live in fear. Living in fear only causes you to have negative thoughts, which just drag you down. I want to help build people up.”

You can learn more about Deven and his story at https://www.clearskytrainer.com. His books, “If I Can Do It So Can You” and “The Garage” are available on Amazon and Bookshop.org

Amy Wong

Amy Wong says, “Life is a lot like math. It’s a simple idea. But it gets complicated.” It gets complicated, she says, because we live in fear and false perceptions about ourselves. As a former mathematician, and now a transformational coach, Amy Wong has made it her mission to help people thrive by understanding that “choice” is our superpower to living a life on purpose.

“…The quality of our experience of our life, is the sum total of all the choices that we’re making.”

Amy has faced many choices along her journey including overcoming an eating disorder and leaving her high powered job in Silicon Valley to forge a new path.

You can learn more about Amy’s work at www.alwaysonpurpose.com. Her book, “Always On Purpose” is available on Amazon and Porchlight and at Barnes & Noble.

Andre Norman

From illiteracy to gang activity, my guest’s childhood prepared him for nothing less than a life of crime and violence. Sentenced to more than 100 years in prison, his journey from the prison yard to Harvard Yard, and a life changing epiphany, is why he has spent every day of his freedom using his voice as an ambassador of hope.

“When you believe and you apply yourself, you don’t need the popular vote. You just need your own commitment.”

You can learn more about Andre’s social justice work at andrenorman.com. His book, “Ambassador of Hope: Turning Poverty and Prison into a Purpose-Driven Life” is available on Amazon to read for yourself or to gift a copy to someone who is incarcerated.

Mark & Crystal Hansen

Mark Victor Hansen and his wife, Crystal Hansen, are internationally acclaimed motivational speakers, entrepreneurs and authors. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Their work hinges on the difference between having just a little bit of success versus being hugely successful, work they say comes down to asking the right questions.

As Crystal says, “…Asking is the way forward, asking is how we evolve, asking is the only mechanism that we have, that reveals everything that is hidden from us. “

“We’re all alive here to do something. As long as you’re learning, you’re vitally alive,” adds Mark.

You can learn more about Mark’s work at https://www.markvictorhansen.com/  and Crystal’s at https://crystalvisionlife.com/. Their titles, including, “Ask!: The Bridge from Your Dreams to Your Destiny”, “The One Minute Millionaire: The Enlightened Way to Wealth” and “Skinny Life – The Secret to Being Physically, Emotionally, and Spiritually Fit”, are available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Chris Herren

He was a basketball phenom, and a drug addict who threw away his NBA career and almost his life.

“I was willing to self-destruct…from the age of 18-32, I took a chance on dying every day, every single day.”

Chris Herren is now sober and is making a positive difference in millions of people’s lives.

“I tell people all the time, who are newly sober, to kind of settle in and get comfortable with the monotony. Because to be good at anything, you got to do it over and over and over again.”

Rhonda Kallman

If you’ve ever had a Sam Adams beer, you may know that it originated in Boston, Massachusetts. But what you may not know is that the woman behind making it a household brand, and a behemoth in the industry, didn’t even drink beer when she co-founded the company. Rhonda Kallman is a whiskey drinker, and today is distilling her own spirits and liquors.

“I knew I wanted to make whiskey, and I knew I wanted to make it here in Boston…the biggest reward for me is when I see consumers try what we make, and their eyes light up and they love it…”

John O’Leary

At the age of nine, my guest was in a horrific fire that burned 100% of his body and nearly killed him. And yet, he survived.

Now, through his own bravery and will to live a full life, John O’Leary is on a quest to help each of us relearn how to live in awe and wonder. “We lose that sense of wonder and curiosity because life beats us up a little bit,” says John, “and because we want to fit in.”

“If I could teach…through my life to seek justice, love, mercy, walk humbly with God, in a marketplace that may not do all those things so brilliantly. That would be a really cool one sentence leave behind.’”

Dr. Richard Shuster

When a car accident nearly took his life, it also gave Dr. Richard Shuster a reboot and now he’s on a mission to make the world a better place.

“I think when bad things happen to us, we have really two choices. One is to get mad at God, ‘how could you do this to me’, and be really angry. The other thing is to say, ‘what can I learn from this? And how can I do better?’ For me, it’s three things. It’s those two questions plus, the third question I ask is, ‘How can I share this in a meaningful way with others so that they don’t go through what I went through?’”
